Job Responsibilities:
- Assists Operations Manager\ Plant Manager with assigned product ordering and inventory control.
- Responsible for blend scheduling.
- Ensures all quality control standards and procedures are followed.
- Responsible for placement, loading and unloading of bulk products.
- Determines the need for overtime and coordinates this with the Plant Manager.
- Coordinates with the logistics, customer service, production and shipping departments to ensure efficient product availability and movement.
- Attends all required meetings and training programs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of OND in any Engineering or Science course.
- Normally requires an understanding of material handling and blending plus experience to demonstrate the ability to provide leadership for department.
- Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
- Understanding and experience manufacturing best practices, inventory development and management, health, safety and environmental regulatory compliance, and product knowledge and proficiency including lubricants.
- Demonstrated lead experience including orientation, training and development, etc. and the ability to get work done through others.
- Proven team building skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
